Recent Developments

In 2009 the corporate strategy and design are carefully studied. High on the agenda are energy saving, tackling climate change and contributing to a clean, healthy and comfortable environment. Throughout her existence Hofman Bouwgroep has always acted responsibly towards the environment. Nevertheless we now realize we have to offer more and more sustainable solutions and also stimulate the demand for it, in order to also positively influence this in our own surroundings. The building company and our window and door production facility each take care of this in their own manner. At the same time we focus on business process improvement. Our products and services are brought together by the name sustainable building concepts.

In November 2008 the Polish production facility of windows and doors obtained the KOMO product certificate for wooden façade elements concepts I and II. The KOMO quality mark stands for independent quality control, based on objective standards. In order to obtain the certificate, first a zero measurement had been done, followed by strict laboratory tests at SHR Timber Research. The results were very succesfull, thus we can truly say the KOMO certification guarantees the quality of our products.

With the production and sales of our windows and doors we have the ambition to be active nationwide and generate growth. To help make this happen in 2008 a professional sales organization was established: Hofman Kozijnen B.V.. In 2009 Gerard Hofman handed over the management of Hofman Kozijnen to Mr. Wim Arnoldus.
