2005 Hofman-Slubice Sp. Z o.o.

In reaction to the growing demand for high quality products, in 2005 Gerard Hofman decided to expand with another production facility for wooden windows and doors. In 2006 this facility was built in Slubice, Poland. The location had been chosen because of the relatively low cost of land, the mild tax climate, the wide offer of well-educated and motivated employees, and low labour costs compared to the Netherlands or surrounding countries. This enables us to offer our products at competitive prices. A highly automated production system also enables us to achieve higher production rates, through which delivery times are reduced considerably.

2003 Advanced machinery in Maasdijk

In 2003 the facility for the production of windows and doors in Maasdijk was expanded with advanced machinery, through which the production capacity could rise. This should have been the answer to the continuously growing demand for high quality products. However, soon after, the new machinery already ran at full capacity and the demand kept growing. Therefore few years later, other ways to increase production were to be found.
